Tera Coat, Orange

This coat is our masterpiece this season - but we can hardly claim full credit for it. The greater credit goes to the craftspeople of the village of Akhmeem in upper Egypt’s Suhaj. The fabrics that come out of Akhmeem have long captured our imagination, and fueled our inspiration.. Recently, we came across their vibrantly-colored fabrics, in retro plaids, that made us think of sixties winter charm revival, and hence the warm, engulfing, quilted puffer coat!

Cotton/Polyester blend, and wool collar

One Size M/L

Hand-woven fabrics require extra care when handling. Hand-wash only with room-temperature water and non-abrasive soaps. Air-dry to take extra care not to lump the inner quilting fiber.
